Update: it took about 4 hours. --but it did fluff and now 4 inches as mentioned. so far my dog likes and looks like it will be easy to clean. I like the 2 covers. the only downside is the hinges are very cheap and there is no pull tab on the hinge, which makes zipping a bit difficult. I received this product in Exchange for my honest review
