I have a 80 lb Lab mix who absolutely loves this bed-as soon as I entered the foam pillow and put it on the floor, pulled right over and laid down. very easy to put together, I would certainly recommend follows the tip on and put the cushion in foam immediately before it has a chance to fully inflate. the cover fits snug around the pillow and "headrest", there is little chance for deburring/tearing dog's nails. as you can see in
